As compared to previous years there will be NO gray area in course boundaries. If you are found cutting the course even if tape is down or not marked you will be disqualified. The land manager will not allow us to keep holding races at Bootleg Canyon if racers do not stay on the obvious trails. It is very obvious where the trails are at bootleg as they are well worn in. We here at Bootleg Canyon Gravity Racing encourage line choice but cannot allow racers to travel off from the obvious trails. If you have any questions or concerns about lines on a course please don't hesitate to contact the Chief of Course: Elias Ingraham. (518) 637-1464 evilelias@hotmail.com 11.) What about spectators, do they have to pay anything? a) Spectators are very welcome and always free. When there is room on the shuttle, spectators can hop on and take a ride up if they wish. We encourage all to bring as many spectators as they want. This year we will be trying harder to encourage the locals in Boulder City to do the same. We are even hoping to pass out free cow bells for the spectators wishing to make some noise along the race courses. More spectators will help make the events more like the festival atmosphere we are looking for. 12.) How are you going to assign points to the racers for the winter series? a) Points will be assigned to every racer based on their category and in what position that they finish for each race. Here is how it will break down. b) In the event of the racer wishing to upgrade to a higher category during the series, none of your points will carry over and you will start from scratch.
